Michael Conger is a nonprofit development professional and Ph.D. student focused on public policy, foster care, and youth development. He currently works in Development at Carrie Steele-Pitts Home, supporting fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement efforts that serve youth with foster care experience across Georgia.
Drawing from both professional and lived experience, Michael is passionate about advocacy, systems change, and expanding postsecondary opportunities for young people impacted by foster care. His doctoral research focuses on foster care and graduate education policy, specifically barriers former foster youth face in accessing advanced education and long-term stability.
