Tisha Draper was born and raised in Kentucky to Christian parents who modeled, instilled, and cultivated an invaluable character of integrity, humility, and perseverance, always doing your best at everything, no matter the simplicity or complexity of the task.  At 18, Tisha yearned to see the world outside the farming community and joined the US Navy. Tisha honorably retired after 22 years with countless deployments and tours as a Chief Petty Officer.  As a Chief, she gained instrumental leadership skills that are still used today – never give up – keep pushing forward, be accountable, be courageous, communicate, and lead by example. After her naval retirement, she tackled another role in the waters. She is the IT Program Administrator for Trinity River Authority.  It requires team effort from everyone within the organization to accomplish TRA’s mission to promote conservation, reclamation, protection and development of the natural resources of the river basin for the benefit of the public. Tisha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Regent University and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University.  She firmly believes that education is vital to career advancement and personal development. “If you aren’t learning, you aren’t growing. If you aren’t growing, then you aren’t learning.” Tisha is happily married to Chad who is a retired Army Veteran and current seminarian pursuing his ThM. Together they have three beautiful girls.  Most importantly, remember family first and always.
