I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an associate in applied science in Criminal Justice and work for a Not-for-Profit state coalition.
I serve in several community-based boards and commissions and as a volunteer mentor for Youth and youth programs.
In 2018 I was elected to serve the Pasco City Council starting January 2018 and re-elected for another four-year term starting in 2022. I was then elected Mayor Pro-Tem in 2020 and elected Mayor in 2022 by my Council peers. I was born and raised in the central coast of California, where I lived most of my life except when I opted to connect with her heritage and right after graduating high school, enrolled in college in Mexico. Soon after graduating I moved back to be with my family in California and left again in 2005 when I moved to Washington State. I have 2 adult sons wrapping up their college careers and I enjoy spending time-off traveling with them.
