Shannon Stinnett, Founder and President of BLVCK In Tech, is on a mission to empower underrepresented groups in technology by creating inclusive spaces for learning, development, and growth. Hailing from Memphis, TN, and raised in Eastern Arkansas, Shannon’s Southern roots have given her the resilience and drive to break barriers in both her personal and professional life. After landing in Dallas in 2017, she set out to build not just her career, but also a community of empowered, diverse tech leaders.
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Central Arkansas and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). Currently, she’s pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Louisiana State University Shreveport, balancing her education with her passion for leveraging technology to bridge gaps, improve processes, and foster innovation.
With over 8 years of leadership experience, Shannon has worked across industries including finance, retail, and tech. She’s known for her ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multi-million-dollar portfolios, and drive seamless transitions through tech integrations. Her leadership style blends strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, ensuring success on even the most complex projects.
