Sandra Garcia Acevedo is a Diversity Compliance Specialist who understands the need for keeping order, maintaining systems and communication with clients. Sandra works with a variety of people to ensure that the needs of both the company and clients are met. Sandra is a community leader that leads with her head and heart to create a safe and welcoming space for all those that she meets.
Sandra’s continuous passion in serving her community has led in being appointed to serve on several boards and committees. Sandra currently serves as the Vice Chair of Membership for the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, serves on the board of the Presbyterian Night Shelter, the Methodist Justice Ministry, and BoardBuild. In addition, she has a passion for health awareness and serves on the Board for the American Diabetes Association and CoAct North Texas. Sandra served on the board for Susan G. Koman was on the advocacy committee for Junior Achievement of Chisholm Trail.
Sandra obtained the Dale Carnegie Leadership Certificate in 2018. Sandra believes in and is an advocate for mentorship and received the Fort Worth Business Mentor Award in 2018. Sandra believes in education and is currently a member of Steer Fort Worth and participating in the Key holders program.
Sandra is committed to her community and is passionate about servanthood. She believes in giving back and through her relationship building skills she has continued to be involved with the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where she leads the Ambassador Program.
