Leila currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at the Fort Worth Education Partnership. Over the last decade she has dedicated herself to working for increased access to high quality education for all kids. Her early work included teaching and working to retain educators. Later she joined a national education research and consulting organization where she supported the shift of organizational management structures, acted as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on their talent needs, and consulted on how to move human capital management systems from tactical to strategic.
Today, in her work as Vice President of Operations at Fort Worth Education Partnership she manages their school partner grants, data, talent programs, and organizational operations. Leila studied Public Health and Political Science at Saint Louis University and Education Finance at the Georgetown Edunomics Lab, is a Society for Human Resources Management – Certified Professional, and a graduate of the Teaching Trust Ed Fellows Program and Leadership ISD.
Leila and her husband Juan, a public-school teacher, reside in the Fort Worth area with their three sons, Amir, Karim and Keivan.
