Dr. Ce’Vin V. Barnes, MBA, CPD, DML is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience spanning military service, higher education, and community engagement. A retired U.S. Army officer, Dr. Barnes built a distinguished career in logistics, operations, and leadership development, where he led complex systems, developed personnel, and drove organizational effectiveness.

Transitioning intentionally into higher education, Dr. Barnes has focused on student success, leadership development, and institutional strategy. His work centers on creating pathways for underserved populations, with a strong emphasis on workforce readiness, mentorship, and community-based learning. He is the founder of 7BARNES Solutions, a professional training and consulting firm, and C.Y.C.L.E. (Cultivating Young Communities through Leadership and Education), a nonprofit initiative dedicated to empowering youth through leadership, digital literacy, and career development.
