Amanda Jane Arizola is a nonprofit executive, civic leader, and community strategist with more than 25 years of experience driving systemic change across healthcare, economic mobility, workforce development, and housing in North Texas. A proud generational Tarrant County native and product of Fort Worth ISD schools, Amanda brings both deep roots and executive-level expertise to every leadership role she holds.
Amanda holds a double B.A. in Government and Mexican-American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, and dual graduate degrees — an MBA and a Master’s in Health Systems Management — from Texas Woman’s University. Her academic foundation, paired with decades of on-the-ground leadership, gives her a rare ability to bridge strategy with community impact.
As Co-Founder and COO of CoACT North Texas, Amanda leads a nonprofit that applies human-centered design to help organizations innovate and scale their impact. Her career spans senior roles across the nonprofit and public sectors, including Program Director for a statewide Affordable Care Act navigation effort across 236 Texas counties, Assistant Director at Foundation Communities where she oversaw the completion of over 79,000 free tax returns returning more than $124 million to residents, and Director of Strategy and Corporate Administration at One CommunityUSA.
Amanda has a distinguished record of board and advisory service. She made history as the first Latina Vice Chair of the JPS Health Network Board of Managers, a major public health institution, where she gained direct experience in governance, fiduciary oversight, and budget management. She has also served on the Community Advisory Board of the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, the KERA/PBS Community Advisory Board, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (DFW) Advisory Board, and the Grants Advisory Committee of the United Way of Tarrant County, among others.
A founding leader of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas – Arlington Chapter and past President of MANA de North Texas, Amanda is deeply committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in civic and institutional decision-making. She is known for leading with competence, clarity, and corazón — and for delivering measurable results even in resource-constrained environments.
