Seasoned accounting and auditing professional looking to get involved as board member to help drive organizations mission. Areas of interest include: education, economic advancement for low-income/first generation students, poverty, international aid, community development, international development.

I was born in Bangladesh and immigrated to the US in 1991. I am a first generation college graduate. I obtained my Bachelors in Economics and Accounting as well as Masters in Accounting from University of Massachusetts-Amherst. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and my professional background has been in accounting/auditing. Currently I am a Director at Weaver & Tidwell, a public accounting firm based out of Texas.

On a personal level, I am new father of triplets as of September 6, 2023. My wife and I live in Plano, TX. I am a strong believer in service and volunteering in the community. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening with a focus on growing rare tropical fruits in my small garden in Plano.
